Cynthia Wenström has spent most of her life in the Valley of the Sun, is an avid hiker, mountain biker, camper and all-around outdoors person. She graduated from Scottsdale Leadership’s Class XXV. As a board volunteer, she served as Resource Development Vice Chair; as an employee of Scottsdale Leadership, her role encompasses fund development and events management.
As a volunteer and now staff member, the Scottsdale Leadership program enriched her life beyond all expectations; her passion is sharing the value this community leadership concept offers to business leaders and other community members. She has volunteered with several 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 organizations, and finds Scottsdale Leadership inspiring.
Other community involvement includes: Scottsdale Commissioner for the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, Steward for the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, Chairman of Scottsdale Leadership’s Principle for Civil Dialogue initiative, Founding member of the Arizona Golden (Retriever) Rescue, and a proud team member of the P.E.T. (Pets Eat Too) Pantry, the pet food arm of Scottsdale’s Vista del Camino Food Bank.
She earned her MBA in Global Business and BS in Information Systems.
