SL Alumni, their family, and furry friends are invited to our potluck picnic! We will have a pet parade and costume contest.
This event is free to attend with a suggested donation of diapers! We will be collecting diapers to donate to the Diaper Bank of Central Arizona.
Many people don’t realize that families on food stamps cannot purchase diapers as they are considered a paper product, yet daycare centers require 6-10 diapers per baby in order to drop off your baby and go to work…. No diapers, no daycare, no work, no paycheck…..further perpetuating the cycle of poverty. Our mission is to provide 1,000,000 diapers to families in need annually in Central Arizona. We would love your help covering baby bums!!
This event is a potluck, so please bring your favorite dish to share! Plates, napkins, and cutlery will be provided.
